RAPID and its associated facilities are part of the <a href=\"https:\/\/pic.petronas.com\/Pages\/default.aspx\"><strong>PETRONAS Pengerang Integrated Complex (PIC)<\/strong><\/a> development in Johor, which is being constructed on an area of more than 8,000 hectares and will include the Pengerang Co-generation Plant, Re-gasification Terminal 2, Air Separation Unit, Raw Water Supply Project and Liquid Bulk Terminal, as well as centralized and shared utilities and facilities. PIC forms part of the Johor State&#8217;s Pengerang Integrated Petroleum Complex (PIPC), which is a key element of Malaysia&#8217;s Economic Transformation Program, an initiative aimed at the establishment of new economic engines of growth for Malaysia. PIC is poised for refinery start-up by early 2019.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>&#8220;Our company is uniquely qualified to meet the specific product requirements for the Refinery and Petrochemical Integrated Development Project at Pengerang&#8221;<\/em>, said General Director of Zamil Steel Vietnam. <em>&#8220;This significant heavy industrial complex combines a number of operations, and will require extensive planning, flexibility and diversification on our part.
